Carlson Hotels Worldwide (CHW) has added another 13 properties to its portfolio of 900 international hotels and is set to expand further next year.
 
Two Radisson Hotels & Resorts in Malta and Mexico, one Park Plaza in India, three Country Inns & Suites in the USA and seven Park Inn Hotels in the UK and India have been added to the group.
 
Sam Winterbottom vice-president of development at the company said he was delighted with the progress. “In all we’ve added 96 hotels since 1 January of this year.”
 
The company plans to add a further 100 properties in 2006, focusing on expanding the Radisson Hotels & Resorts and Country Inns & Suites brands.
 
CHW currently operates more than 913 properties under five brands; Regent International Hotels, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Country Inns & Suites and Park Inn in more than 69 countries.

 
CHW is a subsidiary of Carlson Companies, which provides consumer services in the marketing, travel and hospitality industry including Radisson Seven Seas Cruises and TGI Friday’s.
