Latest NewsLondon hotels 'back on track'(23 December 2005 10:45)Chain hotels in London grew revenue per available room (revpar) by 6.4% during November, according to the latest figures from TRI Hospitality Consulting. This was more than double the rate of increase recorded in October (2.4%). TRI director David Bailey said the results showed London had returned to the growth pattern seen in the first half of 2005. "London is back on track," he said. The rise in revpar was the result of occupancy in the capital up by 1.9 percentage points to 83% and a 3.9% increase in room rate to £103.33. Outside London the revpar increase was smaller, at 4.4%.
