The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 8 January, 2006
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) rise by 5.8% in the week ending 8 January, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar grew to £98.47, up from £93.09 during the equivalent week last year.
Occupancy was unchanged at 74.2%.
The revpar rise stemmed from 5.8% increase in average room rate to £132.67, up from £125.42 in the corresponding week of 2005.
