The Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa in North Berwick, East Lothian, has welcomed John McMahon as head chef. He has moved from Glasgow's Beardsmore hotel, where he was also head chef, and before that he was executive chef at Scotland's Skibo Castle retreat.
