Turnover up 46% at Holroyd Howe

Independent contract caterer Holroyd Howe has announced a 46% jump in turnover to £26.7m for last year.

In the 12 months to 30 September 2005, the Buckinghamshire-based caterer added 19 contracts to its books, taking the total to 92. In the same period its pre-tax profit leapt 77% to £638,000.

Jeni Edwards, director of business development, said: "The variety of quality new business that we have in our portfolio is testimony to the strength and depth of resource we now have in our team."

The company employs 840 people and its clients include Honda, Yahoo, and British Arab bank.

New contract wins last year included brewer Interbrew in Luton, which has a contract turnover of £335,000 a year.
