The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 29 January, 2006
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 7% in the week ending 29 January, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar grew to £97.56, up from £91.17 during the equivalent week last year thanks to increases in both occupancy and average room rate.
Occupancy grew by 1.4 percentage points to 73.7% while average room rate rose by 4.9% to £132.40, up from £126.16 in the corresponding week of 2005.
