The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 5 February, 2006

London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 16.3% in the week ending 5 February, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar grew to £102.46, up from £88.07 during the equivalent week last year thanks to increases in both occupancy and average room rate.

Occupancy grew by 7.5 percentage points to 76.3% while average room rate rose by 5% to £134.28, up from £127.92 in the corresponding week of 2005.
