A multifunction touch screen keeps operators constantly informed when using new MT series dishwashers, the first conveyor-based washers from Winterhalter. The new machines, to be the subject of a special audio-visual presentation at Hotelympia, are made in conveyor rack (MTR) and flight (MTF) versions.
Modular "intelligent building block" construction enables machines to be tailored closely to a site's specific day-to-day operational needs. Thus system setting can be switched between plates, glasses and pans with differing intensities, depending on how dirty items are. Energy-saving features include triple-rinse zone, a heat exchanger in the prewash zone, exhaust air heat recovery system and optional heat pump. Each zone in the multistage conveyor run remains idle unless there are dishes within that section.
