Cal Dive chooses Compass for North Sea
Compass Group defence support services division ESS has won a three-year deal to provide catering services aboard offshore operator Cal Dive's MSV Seawell intervention ship in the North Sea, west of Shetland. The contract, which will turn over £467,000 per year, will see 18 ESS staff cater for about 110 Cal Dive staff. The contract was previously run by Aramark.

Scolarest wins bid for Frogmore Community College
Compass Group education division Scolarest has won a four-year contract to provide catering services at Frogmore Community College in Yately, Hampshire. The deal, which will turn over £390,000 per year, will see about seven Scolarest staff cater for up to 830 students. The contract was previously run by Initial Catering.

Azure comes first at Kempton Park
Azure, the sports and stadium catering division of Elior UK, has won a contract to provide catering services at Kempton Park racecourse in Middlesex. The three-and-a-half-year deal, which will turn over £2.5m per year, will see Azure provide food for race-goers in addition to the conference and banqueting business. The deal includes six new retail outlets and was previously operated by Sodexho.

Directors Table takes over Guardian contract
Sodexho fine-dining division Directors Table has won a three-year deal to provide catering services at the offices of the Guardian newspaper. The contract, which will turn over about £900,000 per year, will see 29 Directors Table staff cater for the group's 1,300-strong workforce. The deal was previously run by Charlton House.
