The Bench: North-western hotel performance in January 2006

Hotels in the North West of England saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow marginally by 0.2% during the month of January.

Revpar increased to £42.45, up from £42.38 in January 2005, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Occupancy dropped by 1.2 percentage points to 64.2% but average room rate grew by 2.2% to £66.16, compared with £64.75 in January 2005.
