Trends & DataThe Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 12 March, 2006(16 March 2006 17:18)London hotels increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 3.4% in the week ending 12 March, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench. Revpar grew to £104.30, up from £100.85 during the equivalent week last year. A small dip in occupancy was offset by a higher average room rate. Occupancy fell by 2.7 percentage points to 78.9% while average room rate rose by 6.9% to £132.14, up from £123.62 in the corresponding week of 2005.
