Anton Mossiman receives award

Swiss-chef Anton Mosimann has received the cross, rosette and ribbons of Officer, National Ordre du Mérite Agricole in recognition of his culinary achievements.

The award of merit is the highest that can be bestowed on a foreigner by the president of France.

Mosimann, chef/proprietor of the eponymous London Belgravia dining club, cooked for Prime Minster Tony Blair last week (9 March) at a dinner for the Brazilian president held at 10 Downing Street.

Mosimann received an OBE in 2004.
