The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 16 April, 2006
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) slump by 18.6% in the week ending 16 April, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar fell to £70.49, down from £86.55 during the equivalent week last year.
Occupancy slipped by 1.6 percentage points to 75.31% while average room rate dropped by 16.8% to £93.67, down from £112.62 in the corresponding week of 2005.
