Latest NewsProperty magnate Donald Trump to build world-class golf resort in Scotland(14 June 2006 13:32)US developer Donald Trump is to build a $500m (£271m) world-class golf resort in Scotland. The project, currently in the planning stage, will be on the 800-acre Menie Estate, just north of Aberdeen and bordering the North Sea. It will comprise two 18-hole golf courses, clubhouse, golf academy, practice facilities and turf research academy. The mixed-use development will also include a luxury hotel, multiple restaurants, spa, condominiums and banqueting and conference facilities. The development will be known as Trump International Golf Links, Scotland with courses designed by Donald J Trump Signature Designs and golf-course architect Tom Fazio. Article continues below
