EasyHotel names new chief executive officer

EasyHotel has appointed Lawrence Alexander as chief executive officer and he will take up his position on 31 July.

He joins the company from Jarvis Hotels where he was commercial director. He has also held positions with Ladbroke, Merit and Penguin Hotels.

With 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, Alexander will be responsible for finding and managing future franchisees.

Stelios Haji-Ioannou will remain as chairman for the foreseeable future.

Stelios said: "An experienced chief executive is just what EasyHotel needs just now as the company is going to grow fast and globally."
