Sodexho wins Haydock Park contract
Sodexho Prestige has won a three-year contract at Haydock Park racecourse in Newton-Le-Willows, Lancashire, to manage the conference, banqueting and hospitality operation, as well as race-day public catering. The contract, which will turn over about £3m a year, will see 25 permanent staff, rising to 270 for events, cater for the 300,000 annual visitors.

Met Office signs five-year deal with Eurest
Eurest, the business and industry division of Compass Group, has won a five-year catering contract extension at the Met Office in Exeter. The contract, which will turn over £3.5m a year, will see 22 Eurest staff cater for the 1,000 daily customers.

Elior-owned restaurant wins Welsh museum contract

Elior-owned Digby Trout Restaurants has won a seven-year catering contract with St Fagans: National History Museum in Cardiff, Wales. The contract, which will turn over £650,000 a year, will see 30 staff cater for the 500,000 annual visitors. The deal was previously run by Apple Catering.

Rugby school swaps in-house catering for Scolarest
Compass Group education division Scolarest has won a three-year catering contract at Lawrence Sheriff School in Rugby. The contract, which will turn over £519,000 a year, will see eight staff catering for 780 pupils. The school previously ran its catering in-house.
