Seared tuna in rice pancakes – by Maria Elia
INGREDIENTS
Chinese pancakes
Mooli
Cucumber
Carrots
Tuna steak
Oil
Salt and pepper
Lee Kum Lee Char Siu sauce
METHOD
Cut each pancake in half. Spread a little sauce on it (this is normally used in Chinese cooking as a glaze for roast pork). Cut the vegetables in double-length julienne. Brush season and sear the tuna. Cut in long strips. Wrap the vegetables and fish in the pancakes.
