Better Foodie bash for Restaurants Against Hunger
The great and the good of the food world will be battling it out to prove their culinary knowledge next week at the "Better Foodie" charity fundraising quiz.
Based on the new book, How to be a Better Foodie, the quiz will raise money for Restaurants Against Hunger month, which runs during October.
The night will feature the author Sudi Pigott as mistress of ceremonies and teams of gastronauts and chefs, including Mark Hix, chef director of The Ivy and Raymond Blanc, chef patron of Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons,
The event takes place at the LG Lecture Room at Waterstone's Piccadilly outlet in central London on Wednesday 27 September. Doors open 6pm for 6.30pm start.
Charity tickets cost £35 including food tasters sponsored by Fortnum & Mason and wines by Penfolds.
