Alpha Airports rebuilds its executive team
Alpha Airports, which had its shares temporarily suspended from the London Stock Exchange early this year, has made two senior appointments as it looks to rebuild its executive team.
Mark Adams, previously chief financial officer for STA Travel Group, has joined the company as finance director, assuming responsibilities from interim finance director Tim Redburn.
Andrew Magowan, who will join the company on 20 November as secretary and general council, has worked as a senior lawyer for Associated British Food since 2003, as well as for city law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Alpha had its shares suspended from the London Stock Exchange in April over accounting uncertainties to do with a deal with Icelandic charter airline Excel Airways. They were readmitted in July.
The subsequent fall-out saw chief executive Kevin Abbott and finance director Heather McRae quit, and chairman Graham Frost step down.
