Suffolk deli, café and shop for sale

East Anglian Daily Times' Café of the Year 2006 - has been put up for sale.

The business combines a deli and café specialising in local and home-made food with an off-licence, card and gift shop, and internet area.

The single-storey building has an internal area of 600sq ft and sits on the main A1120 tourist route from Stowmarket to Yoxford in the rural village of Earl Soham.

The café produces freshly-made breakfasts and lunches, along with coffee-to-go, and can seat around 11 customers indoors(which has a sofa-lounge area and two breakfast bars) and another 12 outside across five tables.

Some 70% of the shop's sales come from locally farmed or produced foods such as meat, dairy, smoked fish, chutneys, sauces, organic breads, and beer from the Earl Soham brewery next door.

The business is also known for providing year-round gift hampers, freshly-made pre-ordered picnics, and holiday-let food starter packs.

The trade-marked brand is currently owned by Patrick Bishopp, who moved the business to Earl Soham in 2005 and now plans to concentrate on two other coffee-related businesses.

The Ipswich office of Christie + Co is seeking £95,000 for the leasehold, which runs to September 2015.
