Andrew Thomason has become general manager at Von Essen Hotels' Lower Slaughter Manor in the Cotswolds. He was hotel director at the Forbury hotel in Reading, Berkshire, and also worked as resident manager at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons hotel in Great Milton, Oxfordshire.
