Hamburger Union to open sixth site in London

Hamburger Union has announced plans to open its sixth London site just off Leicester Square.

The news follows the gourmet burger chain's recent announcement of a fifth site to launch on Tottenham Court Road before Christmas.

The sixth site will open at 3-5 Charing Cross Road, near the entrance to Leicester Square, in a unit which was formerly occupied by Pizza Hut.

Leisure property specialist Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of Pizza Hut to surrender its existing lease and assisted in agreeing a new lease for Hamburger Union on the 2,500sq ft property.

Hamburger Unions currently trade from Dean Street and Garrick Street in Soho, Islington and Hampstead.

The concept serves burgers made fresh on the premises each day, from natural-fed, grass-reared additive-free beef and is the brainchild of two of the team behind Café Pasta.
