Gordon Ramsay scoops Emmy for Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares

Gordon Ramsay has scoped an Emmy for Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Ramsay, who has just opened his first restaurant in New York, USA, won the non-scripted entertainment category from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The prestigious international television awards picked out a wealth of British talent from best actor Ray Winstone to best comedy show Little Britain.

Ramsay is already known to US viewers through his other international hit Hell's Kitchen.

Fellow high-profile chef Jamie Oliver and his production team picked up a Bafta earlier this year fro his Jamie's School Dinners show.
