London hotels boost revpar by nearly 9%

London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 8.6% in the week ending 19 November, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar climbed to £128.16, up from £118.03 during the equivalent week last year.

Occupancy grew by 0.6 percentage points to 87.4% while average room rate increased by 7.8% to £146.61, up from £136 in the corresponding week of 2005.
