Complementary health trainers buy Welsh country hotel
The owners of Libramentum, professional trainers in complementary therapies, are the new owners of Bryn Eisteddfod Country House hotel in Gwynedd, Wales.
Melody Peters and Tracey Roberts intend to use the hotel for training, but keep it open to the public on a B&B basis.
The detached property, which was built in 1900 and converted into a hotel in 1987, holds an AA four-diamond rating and a three-star ranking from the Welsh Tourist Board.
It is set in 1.5 acres of grounds in the village of Clannog Fawr, nine miles from Caernarfon.
The 10 bedrooms all offer a sea or mountain view and are individually named after something that can be seen from the windows. The property also has an extensive conservatory and a guest lounge with a feature fireplace.
The Manchester office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off an asking price of £525,000 on behalf of Andrew and Carol Croxton, who have owned the hotel since 2001.
