Excellence in Catering Equipment and Supplies winner Enodis UK has appointed Jeremy Hobbs to head up its newly formed business unit, UK Food Service.

Managing director Hobbs will head up the new business, which will incorporate the company’s Viscount manufacturing facility and distribution operations. He was group operations director at the company.

In addition, Colin Lacey has become general manager of the newly created UK Food Service Customer Care division, a stand-alone business that encompasses spare parts, technical support and training.

Lacey currently runs the Merrychef Customer Care department.

Enodis brands include combi-oven and microwave division MerryChef, Garland and Frymaster. The Merrychef and Scotsman Beverage Systems divisions remain unchanged.
