Improved visitor focus at Hospitality

The organisers of Hospitality 2007, the year's largest exhibition for food service and hospitality, which takes place at Birmingham's NEC from 22-24 January, have unveiled new and improved features.

In addition to the 50-plus stands highlighting product ranges such as organic snacks, speciality breads, pre-prepared stocks and premium sausages, the Speciality Pavilion will host smaller, artisan companies.

New to the 2007 exhibition is a dedicated tea lounge, where visitors will be able to sample a range of teas from established brands and new entrants to the market. On the theme of the nation's favourite beverage, the dedicated Hospitality 2007 seminar programme will run a Tea in Foodservice debate with key personnel from the industry.

Located in the Interiors and Tableware section and run in association with GS Magazine, the Design Showcase will present the work of leading architects and designers and will also have consultants on hand to help visitors with design dilemmas. In the same section, the British Contract Furnishing Association will showcase the best in small and leading furniture design as well as a clothing and workwear area.

With the Spa at Hospitality feature, suppliers of the latest products and services will show visitors how a spa can deliver increased revenue, added value and improve guest retention.

For those looking to dine at the exhibition, tables can now be booked for La Parade des Chefs, a dedicated restaurant within the show. To sample the culinary delights of teams from Gleneagles in Auchterarder, London's Claridge's and the Michelin-starred Simpson's in Birmingham, who will be competing for medals, go to www.hospitalityshow.co.uk to reserve a table. Visitors can also pre-register for the show there.
