London hotels boost revpar by more than 17%

London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 17.5% in the week ending 10 December, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar climbed to £144.37, up from £122.86 during the equivalent week last year.

Occupancy grew by 2.5 percentage points to 90.8% while average room rate increased by 14.2% to £158.99, up from £139.19 in the corresponding week of 2005.
