Police have named a chef they want to question after a restaurant worker was stabbed in a horrific attack.

Detectives, who are treating the attack as attempted murder, say they want to speak to Fozlu Miah.

The 21-year-old Bangladeshi, who is a registered asylum seeker, is believed to have caught a train from Ulverston in Cumbria. Police believe he may have gone to Lancashire.

The original incident happened at the British Raj, in the seaside town of Ulverston, last Thursday night.

The victim, a young waiter, suffered multiple knife wounds to his body and arms.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he is recovering.
