Dismayed by the bulky and flair-free Spanish and Italian models that dominate the commercial juicer market, 24-year-old Chris Mitchell has set up a company called Sqweez to offer the UK's only contender in the sector. Its Sqweez machine (or SQ2) is an entry-level commercial citrus juicer that aims to bring a little sexiness to the healthy-drinking experience. It can process 25 fruits a minute, enabling caterers to serve a three-orange drink every six minutes. The process keeps the oily skins away from the juicy pulp and is visible through a viewing window that adds an element of theatre to the operation.
