BAA unveils latest food and drink operators signed up to Terminal 5
UK airports authority BAA has announced the latest tranche of food and drink operators signed up to the Heathrow Terminal 5 project.
Apostrophe, the boulangerie-patisserie, is to open its first airport outlet, offering freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries, yoghurts, salads and soups.
Coffee chains Starbucks and Caffè Nero will also have operations at Terminal 5, when it opens in March 2008. Starbucks will offer a new table service for hot food.
Sandwich chain Eat will offer oven-baked bread, jugs of freshly squeezed juice, homemade soup, pies and a host of vegetarian, wheat-free or gluten-free fare, while Krispy Kreme will provide its variety of doughnuts and cakes.
"This means we need fresh on-the-go options, a really good cup of coffee, a top-of-the-range restaurant experience and everything else in between.
"The common link is our mission to deliver the best quality at the right price, regardless of whether you have 30 minutes or two hours to spare before your flight."
Gordon Ramsay and Caviar House & Prunier have already signed restaurant deals at T5.
