CatererTV: Big Sleep hotel owners on why they invited a TV crew to their hotel

What are the pros and cons of making a TV documentary about opening a hotel?

Hotels are becoming pretty vogue for TV documentary makers or script writers these days.

Recently, we've had Ruth Watson cast her slide rule over hotel properties in the Hotel Inspector on Channel five and last summer there was the BBC's TV soap Hotel Babylon, whose second series is about to kick off soon.

So when Caterer heard that the duo behind the Big Sleep hotel were taking part in a documentary about opening a new hotel, it was time to ask founders Cosmo Fry and Lulu Anderson what's it was like to open a hotel under the constant eye of a documentary team.

To see what they think, see our clip on CatererTV or read the full article online or in tomorrow's Caterer and Hotelkeeper (8 February).
