Makella teams up with HCIMA and BAHA
Makella, the online marketplace, has teamed up with the Hotel and Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) and the British Association of Hospitality Accountants (BAHA).
Through the partnership, the groups aim to raise awareness of how hospitality companies can improve their purchasing processes and make use of technology to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Nicola Knight, marketing controller for Makella said few companies within the hospitality sector used procurement processes and technologies to their full advantage.
Through our partnerships with BAHA and HCIMA, we hope to help hospitality companies, large and small, identify the opportunities to improve processes and make cost savings, and demonstrate how they can start achieving them," she said.
Petra Clayton, director of marketing and communications at the HCIMA, said: "As a professional body we endeavour to promote best practice, support our members and challenge the industry and Makella has the same objectives: to bring effective solutions to a wide range of businesses and to provide information to both large and small organisations in such a competitive environment."
