Gaucho Grill to launch two new restaurants
Restaurant group Gaucho Restaurants is expanding its portfolio with the launch of a further two eateries in London.
The South American chain will open restaurants in Richmond and Tower Bridge in April and May respectively.
It will bring the Gaucho Grill restaurant portfolio to 10 London eateries, plus one in Manchester.
Gaucho Richmond will be a 100-cover restaurant with additional outside dining space for 150. It will be located on Richmond's river embankment, with views of the Old Bridge.
The Tower Bridge property will be a 140-cover restaurant, with an alfresco space for up to 24 people, offering views of the River Thames and HMS Belfast.
"The openings of Gaucho Richmond and Tower Bridge mark an exciting new phase for the development of the Gaucho Restaurant collection and I am excited about introducing the Gaucho concept into these prominent residential and commercial areas," said chief executive Zeev Godik.
Both Gaucho Tower Bridge and Richmond restaurants will be designed by Conceptualise Design, combining ranch elements with the elements of tango and Buenos Aires nightlife.
Last summer, Gaucho was bought by private equity company Phoenix Equity Partners in a £55m secondary buyout led by founder Godik.
