Holroyd Howe appoints first regional director for the north

Contract caterer Holroyd Howe has officially appointed its first regional director for the north of England, Jeremy Wood.

Wood has moved from rival Sodexho where he was group operations director, as first reported last month by CatererSearch.

The move represents a commitment to focus on the "largely untapped" Northern market according to the caterer, which has 113 contracts in England and annual turnover of £39m.

Maria MacAloney, previously human resources manager at Mossiman Restaurants, has joined the business in the newly created role of HR manager.

Fiona Swan is another new recruit, leaving Avenance, where she was operations manager, to become area manager with responsibility for City contracts.
