Five more years of Albert Roux at Restaurant Associates

Restaurant Associates (RA), part of contract caterer Compass Group, will have the continued support of fine dining veteran Albert Roux for five more years.

Albert Roux has signed a contract extending his association with the caterer into its third decade.

As part of the ongoing association Roux will continue to coach RA and Roux Fine Dining chefs, as well as hosting masterclasses for clients and prospective clients and workshops for chefs.

Last April Restaurant Associates announced Albert Roux's son, Michel Roux Jr the chef-patron of the two Michelin-starred Le Gavroche restaurant in London, had joined the team as a consultant.

Jason Leek, managing director of Compass' fine dining sector, said of Albert's extension: "Professional training and development is at the forefront of our business and it's fantastic to be able to give our Restaurant Associates team the chance to further their skills and benchmark their standards against the finest restaurants in London."
