According to the Carbon Trust's latest Energy Technology List (ETL), Gram UK's Midi K 625 fridge scores best on annualised energy usage relative to capacity. The chart-topper is rated at 505kWh per year, saving an additional £80 per year compared with its nearest rival.

The ETL is managed by the Carbon Trust, an independent body set up by Government to help reduce UK carbon emissions. Caterers purchasing from the ETL stand to qualify for relief against taxable profits as well as cutting annual operating costs.
