Nightclub operator Luminar has appointed The Restaurant Group’s John Jackson, 60, as a non-executive director.

Jackson is currently executive chairman of Victory Corporation and other related Virgin companies.

He is a non-executive director at The Restaurant Group, owner of the Frankie & Benny’s chain.

Jackson has also worked as chief executive of Semara and managing director of high-street chain Body Shop.
