Young Guns competition winners named
Samuel Johnson from Bournemouth University and the University of Portsmouth's Sally Adams are the two winners of the Young Guns competition, which recognises the best hospitality students in the UK.
The pair, who competed against eight other finalists at Mosimann's on 29 March, were praised by judges for the way they handled year-long placements at the Royal Household and a Mitchells & Butlers pub respectively.
Johnson and Adams won a place on Richmond Events' Catering & Hospitality Forum, which takes place on the Arcadia cruise ship in June.
Johnson said: "The accolade of becoming a Young Guns in itself is a great achievement and one I am very proud of. The opportunities it creates are even greater."
Adams said: "I am very excited about the opportunities that attending the Forum will offer. I had such a great day at the judging lunch and meeting the panel was an amazing experience."
