Three-Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal is to create three dishes for Manchester’s International Festival, which will take place from 28 June to 15 July.
The Chilled Summer Treats, which will be prepared by chefs from his Berkshire restaurant The Fat Duck, will be sold exclusively at the Festival Pavilion.
Alex Poots, director of the Manchester International Festival, said: “Blumenthal createing these treats will enable thousands of people to taste his delicious and innovative dishes. The Chilled Summer Treats are a perfect reflection of what the festival aspires to: creativity, originality and the highest quality.”
Blumenthal recently hinted that he is considering opening a third UK eatery in the form of a restaurant or gastro pub focused on historic British food.
