Cheaper Baron electronic combis from Universal

(26 April 2007 14:31)

Electronic combi-ovens are valuable in banqueting where consistent results are needed time after time, or in establishments where staff are low-skilled, but they are also significantly dearer than their analogue siblings. Baron has narrowed this price gap by introducing a new control system on its electronic combis, which are easier to use, more reliable, and cost less to repair when things do go wrong.

The simplified controls shave 10% off the price of an electronic combi – for example, the list price of a 10-grid oven drops from £10,416 to £9,268 and brings the price tag closer to analogue compatibles costing around £7,774. In tandem with the simplified control system, Baron has introduced a HACCP control system that prints out records of operating temperatures when linked to a computer.
