Cookery school and catering firm set up new scholarship

The Tante Marie School of Cookery has teamed up with catering and event company Absolute Taste to launch a scholarship for aspiring chefs.

The scholarship, worth up to £13,995, is available for one candidate aged 16 – 25 who will enrol on the Tante Marie Cordon Blue Diploma Course this September at the school’s premises in Surrey.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to a career in the culinary world and be in need of financial assistance.

Lyndy Redding, managing director of Absolute Taste, said: “The Absolute Taste Scholarship has been established to ensure that young people today, with a passionate desire and the commitment to excelling in a career in catering, can be professionally trained and prepared for the demands of entering this highly competitive business.”
