New Hospital Caterers Association chairman unveiled

Neil Watson-Jones, a past chairman of the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA), has returned to the role for another two-year term.

He replaced chairwoman Alison McCree at the HCA's national conference last week at the Hilton London Metropole hotel.

Watson-Jones has been an HCA member for 33 years and vice-chairman for the past year.

He is currently trust catering manager at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in Redditch and was association chairman previously from April 2002 to 2004.

Watson-Jones was also a NHS committee member for the Government's Better Hospital Food Programme, which was axed last year.
