London revpar soars by 21%

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 20.9% in the week ending 29 April, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar rose to £125.80, up from £104.06 during the equivalent week of 2006.

Occupancy grew by 1.7 percentage points to 90.1% while average room rate increased by 18.6% to £139.63, up from £117.75 in the corresponding week of 2006.
