Provision of Catering Service:Manchester Civil Justice Centre(04 May 2007 16:00)The Ministry of Justice is constructing a new landmark 15 storey building within the Spinningfields area of Manchester that will accommodate the new Civil Justice Centre. The building will become operational late summer 2007. Within this building will be housed 47 courtrooms and 76 consulting rooms together with office and support space. Similar to all court complexes there is an opportunity to operate an on site catering service to a broad range of stakeholders. The Ministry of Justice is therefore seeking a dynamic, suitably experienced and innovative catering organisation with a good track record of providing services to establishments of a similar size to overall deliver a service that as a minimum operates on a commercial basis. The tender process will facilitate the award of a two -year contract, with an option to extend by one year. Applications initially applications will be evaluated on the basis of the information provided in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) The Department will then draw up a shortlist of companies who will be invited to tender. Short-listed contractors will be invited to visit the Civil Justice Centre to view the facilities to be provided. Closing Date
