Trends & DataThe Bench: North-eastern hotel performance in February 2007(16 May 2007 08:00)Hotel revenue per available room (revpar) dropped by 2.5% in the North East during the month of February. Revpar was £49.51 in February 2007, down from £50.78 in February 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench. Although occupancy dropped by 2.2 percentage points to 75%, this was offset by a 0.3% rise in average room rate to £66.01, compared with £65.80 in February 2006.
