Ramsay to open Los Angeles restaurant with the Beckhams

Gordon Ramsay is to team up with celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham to open a restaurant in Los Angeles (LA).

The three-Michelin-starred chef is reportedly looking for a venue for his second LA eatery, which will be a joint-venture between him and the Beckhams, who are moving to California later this year.

Ramsay told the News of the World: "We've been friends for a while and have spoken about it. There's always been something in the pipeline."

Victoria Beckham is a devout vegetarian and has reportedly insisted the menu at the restaurant contain a range of vegetarian options.

Ramsay is to open his first restaurant in the city next year with the launch of Gordon Ramsay at the London, West Hollywood hotel.

He opened Gordon Ramsay at the London hotel in New York at the end of last year and plans a further eatery in Miami, which will be headed up by the Michelin-starred Connaught's head chef Angela Hartnett.
