Hospitality companies urges to enter Visit London Awards 2007

Gordon Ramsay won Outstanding Achievement award last year

Entries are now being sought for the 2007 Visit London Awards.

In last year’s awards internationally renowned chef Gordon Ramsay was given the Outstanding Achievement accolade for his influence on London’s cuisine and for boosting the city’s culinary reputation.

Sponsored by Eurostar, the awards recognise and reward excellence in London tourism, across all sectors and sizes of business.

Categories, of which there are 14 in total, include visitor Attraction of the Year, Hostel and small Hotel/Bed and Breakfast of the Year and Large hotel of the Year.

Visit London’s chief executive James Bidwell said: “We will continue to ensure that this year’s finalists and winners enjoy the recognition they deserve for their outstanding contribution to giving both Londoners and visitors to London an unforgettable time in the world’s most amazing city.”
