Dragon's Den star opens restaurant in south London

Dragon's Den star Levi Roots, who won £50,000 after impressing judges on the BBC TV show with his Reggae, Reggae sauce, is opening a restaurant in south London.

Roots launched his spicy brown sauce, which is based on a family recipe, in the UK after winning the backing of the Dragon's Den panel earlier this year.

He opens his Caribbean restaurant and takeaway outlet, Papine Jerk Centre, on Lavender Road in Battersea later today.

Roots said: "I want to introduce Caribbean food to people who may have never tried it before. I think it could become even more popular than Indian takeaways and fish and chips."
