The Bench: North-western hotel performance in March 2007

Hotel revenue per available room (revpar) grew by 5.2% in the North-west during the month of March.

Revpar was £56.42 in March 2007, up from £53.65 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Occupancy increased by 0.5 percentage points to 75.3% while average room rate rose by 4.4% to £74.98, compared with £71.81 in March 2006.
